Save money with the Banff Access Card

 
 

Get discounts on transit and community services programs and products.

  • Free for Banff residents 18 years and older and their children.

  • You can get the Access Card if you have lived in Banff for 3 months and if you meet the income qualifications.

  • See if you qualify at banff.ca/access.

Low Cost Food

There are many places in Banff to get affordable food.

 

Banff Food Rescue

  • You can receive food such as bread, fruit, vegetables, milk, juice, and more.

  • Free to those in need, or by donation.

Bow Valley Good Food Box

  • Buy fresh fruit and vegetables at a very low cost.

  • Pick up only.

Banff Food Bank

  • You can get a box of food up to 6 times a year, free to those in need.

  • You must show identification.

  • Individuals and families must book an appointment.

Bow Valley Food Alliance

  • Addressing issues regarding access to affordable, healthy, and fresh food in a coordinated way.

  • Information about food supports available to residents of the Bow Valley.

  • Interactive community map for locating different food resources.

Community Table

  • Enjoy a free healthy meal with friendly people.

  • Bring your own reusable bag or food containers to take food home.

  • Weekly, 12 - 1 p.m.

BanffLIFE Pasta Night

  • Young adults aged 18-30 in Banff enjoy a weekly $3 pasta meal.

Learn about COVID-19 benefits and supports you may be eligible for.

You may qualify for financial benefits and support due to COVID-19:

  • Employed and self-employed individuals.

  • Those unable to work because they care for their children under 12 or family members who need supervised care.

  • Individuals unable to work because they are sick or need to self-isolate due to COVID-19 or have an underlying health condition that puts them at risk.
